Leek CSOB Ladies F.C picked up their first win of the 2015/16 season on Sunday afternoon with a 4-1 victory against Whitchurch Ladies F.C at Pointon Park, the goals coming from Jess Stirley, Chelsey Berwick, Kelly Porter and Laura Emery. Leek controlled the match throughout, playing some lovely passing Football, and the victory was well deserved.

Manager Phil Bruce hopes that this will now help to kick on the season. He says "The ladies played some excellent Football, and far more impressively, they all put a shift in and worked for each other and for the club. We have been working on things that we need to improve on in training, and the ladies put it in to full effect in this match, getting the three points as a consequence. We have now set the standard for which I am expecting now throughout the course of the season, and we focus on working hard in training and doing a good job in our next match"
