Leek CSOB Ladies F.C start Pre-Season training for the 2015/16 season in the Staffordshire County Women's League

Only a month after finishing in their highest league position and beating their points tally in the Staffordshire County Women's League, Leek CSOB Ladies F.C are back in training to keep the progression going come the 2015/16 season season.

The ladies started back up for pre-season training on Sunday 14th June, and are currently training at least three times per week in the bid to keep on improving on what they achieved last season. Manager Phil Bruce is delighted with the commitment shown so far, and is confident of even better things to come for this coming season. He says "We have started back early as I want us to keep on building from what we have achieved as a club so far over the last 12 months. To have the ladies messaging me asking to start back early and wanting to do multiple training sessions each week is an absolute credit to them and shows to me just how dedicated a bunch they are. As part of our pre-season training, we have entered a ladies 5-a-side league at Goals, Holden Lane, which will help to supplement the fitness and technical work that we are doing in our other sessions"

The ever-growing reputation and publicity of the club is bringing in interest from players, which Bruce embraces. He says "Players have been in contact with us to attend pre-season training with us in the view to signing for us as they can see what we are trying to do here, which is a testament to the players and staff that we have got here so far. We are hoping to bring in a few additions to help strengthen our numbers and keep on improving our overall quality, which I am confident that we can do, so things are looking really good here"

Players can be signed by clubs in the Staffordshire County Women's League as of the beginning of July.
