Leek Town under 7's drew the second game with Kidsgrove Athletic Blues in a good even contest.
Leek looked like they had lost there shape a bit and found it hard to get there passing game going, as a more determined Kiddsgove team, looked to learn from there first half mauling from the first game.
The first half had few chances as both teams seemed to cancel each other out.
Kidsgove defended well and survived a late burst from Leek under 7's and managed to get to half time with the score 0 - 0.
With the slope now in Kidsgrove favour they started to take the game to Leek, but good defending from Sam Bateman, Ollie Patterson and Callum Brough, meant there were not many chances at Spike's goal, although Spike did make on good save when he dealt well with a high shot and palmed it away.
Then Kidsgrove scored when a clearance from Kyle Meharg was charged down and the ball spun past Spike at his front post.
To Leek's credit the goal seemed to wake up and they started to get on top with Sam Bateman driving a free kick over the bar and having another blocked on the line that led to a mass scramble but Jacob Goldsraw, Tom Grindy or Brad Grindy just could not force home.
Leek managed to get the equaliser when a Tom Grindy shot was charged down by Kidsgrove defender's arm, and Tom stepped up to take the penalty, although having his first shot saved, Tom stayed alert to shoot the rebound home in the bottom corner.
