We have put together quite a comprehensive programme of events over the next couple of months. If we can sell these and get the response we hope for it could really set us up for the new season.

We are currently speaking to three players that we have identified to improve the team. Of course to bring in good players they invariably cost more.

This is why we have put the summer programme together and we hope that we can all contribute to these events.

The team off the field is so important in to pushing the club forward, support for these events is crucial to the success we hope to have on the pitch.

Firstly there is our World Cup draw. This costs £10 per team and we have done three sets which means we will have three winners. which means we will have 3 winners, 3 runners up, 3, 3rd place and 3 x 4th place. £100 for 1st, £50 for RU. 2 VP tickets for a game is 3rd prize and 2 bottles of wine for 4th. If anyone wants to buy a team or can sell some, then please get in touch.

We are showing the England v Panama at the club on Sunday 24th June kick-off 1pm with a big TV and projector and screen in the club house.

Food will be available all day with breakfast baps from 11am. We have decided to make it a fun day to attract families and will have a bouncy castle and other activities for the young. Contact the club for tickets, it's just £3 for adults and £2 for kids.

We have also organised another Sportsman's evening on Friday 6th July. Liverpool legend and Sky Sports pundit Phil Thompson is our speaker and Max Pressure the comedian.It's a pie/peas supper and tickets are £30. Please contact me to book a table.

We are again running the beer festival. We have extended this to four days now as we are starting Thursday 26th July which is the evening of the friendly against Crewe Alexandra and we are looking for sponsors of our ales and cider.
