Anthony was badly injured a bomb blast whilst on active duty in the army overseas recently and has been flown to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for ongoing treatment.

Local lad Anthony has been a visitor to Harrison Park in the past and his father Ian will be wll known to many Leek Town supporters as Robin Hood's coach driver for away games and he also acts as a steward at the club.

Ian would like to place on record his thanks to all those who gave medical treatment to his son and everyone at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for taking such good care of Anthony since he arrived back in the UK.

Everyone at the club sends Ian and his family their good wishes and hopes that Anthony makes a speedy recovery.
