AWAY TRIP IN STORE IN FA CUP

Today’s draw sees Lee Casswell taking his side to the winners of Tuesday night’s replay between Tividale and Stafford Rangers.

Whoever wins through from the clash of fellow First Division South clubs, it will provide an interesting sub-plot to the tie. Should Tividale win through, then Blues face to trips to play them in the space of five days as a league game is scheduled at the Beeches on Tuesday 23rd September.

If Stafford are victorious then it will given then an early opportunity to avenge their 2-0 defeat at Harrison Park on Bank Holiday Monday. Dan Cope would also face his home-town club and numerous Blues players would be returning to their former home ground.

The tie is due to be played on Saturday 27th September.
