He commented, "Atherton defended deep and we haven't been as good when we've had to play our way through teams, but I'm not suddenly going to change the way we play, we won't be thrashing the ball up there and hoping for a flick-on or a knock down, so we will persist in what we are doing and look to improve."
Baker added, "I was pleased that the players stuck to the script and although that wasn't enough to get back into the game and I was encouraged by that. However I would have liked us to get more balls into the box and I thought we gave away too many fouls when we tried to regain the ball."
The manager admitted he is looking to agree terms with another central defender but ruled out any wholesale changes saying, "I can't change a lot, the players that we've got are the players we'll keep working with. We had some good results prior to this little dip in form, which have been against good teams in Stamford, Runcorn and Atherton."
