With promotion rivals Mickleover Sports picking up a 3-2 win at Sheffield last night the pressure is on Lee Casswell’s men to ensure they take all three points from the fixture.
The form book would certainly appear to be in Leek’s favour as they are on a nine match unbeaten run stretching back to New Years Day whilst Carlton’s away form is less than impressive with just four points from eleven matches on the road this season.
The Millers has also lost seven of their lost nine league matches overall with only victories over Chasetown and Rainworth to their name since November.
Casswell will need to decide whether to stick with the side that battled past Norton United on Saturday or to rotate his squad with a view to Saturday’s tricky-looking match at Gresley.
