Pitchero Play’s cameras are set to be rolled out across the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League in 2017.

After leading the way with revolutionary first trials in the top flight at Easter, the EVO-STIK NPL has now agreed commercial terms for Pitchero Play to cover the action at all 68 member clubs on a phased basis over the second half of the season, starting with the final fixtures of 2017 after Christmas.

Under the terms of the deal to enable every goal scored in the EVO-STIK NPL to be shared by supporters around the world on NPLTV, there are no costs to clubs who’ll enjoy a new income stream through a revenue share agreement with Pitchero, who’ve hosted the league’s official website since 2012.

Pitchero, who also provide the websites for more than two thirds of the EVO-STIK NPL’s clubs, are close to completing the recruitment of an army of paid camera operators to use their digital cameras.

Equipped with an optical zoom and armed with a custom-built Play app to collect high-quality 30 second highlight snippets as they happen, they will work alongside existing camera operators at clubs who already film their games to complement their coverage.

Pitchers are recruiting cameramen to operate the equipment, this will include a £25 incentive payment per match. If you are interested in doing this please contact a Leek Town Director or email leek town@hotmail.com

Their work will be put to good use to promote the EVO-STIK NPL and supercharge traffic figures for clubs, the league and related sponsors and partners.

As well as all match clips being automatically published on the official websites and social media channels of clubs, full and uninterrupted videos of all fixtures will also be handed over to their coaching staff as performance analysis tools.

EVO-STIK NPL chairman Mark Harris said: “I am delighted to announce that the EVO-STIK NPL has now agreed commercial terms with Pitchero for the roll-out of Pitchero Play across all NPL member clubs on a phased basis from the final weekend’s action of 2016.

“A recent trial of Pitchero Play increased game time traffic to one NPL club website by 400 percent, statistics that only underline the commercial opportunities for all our clubs, both locally and centrally via the NPL website.

“Just as importantly, this is great news for all our fans, players and officials who’ll soon be enjoying live action and goals from all our fixtures on their mobiles, PCs and other devices thanks to the revolutionary Pitchero system we’ve been successfully trialling.”
