Leek appeared to be home and dry as play drifted into added time in the top of the table clash against Loughborough Dynamo at Harrison Park on Saturda

But with Blues winning 1-0 and time running out, the visitors came out on top with a smash and grab raid to net all three points.

After the game Blues’ boss Lee Casswell commented, “Well that was as well as we’ve played against a decent side but we needed that second goal to kill the game off.

“We had plenty of chances and Dan (Shelley) hit the woodwork twice but we’ll probably go on to play worse in some games and win them.

“Overall I was satisfied with the performance but I have to question Matt Bell’s decision making with the free kick in added time that led to us conceding the lead.

“Then, instead of holding on for the point, we were still asking the referee why he’d allowed the goal when we should have been ensuring we got something out of the game.

“However, we’ll take our mistakes on board and make sure they don’t happen again”, he added.

Lee Casswell made three changes to his side the game against Loughborough with Ryan Dicker and Jordan Johnson making their first starts of the season whilst skipper Sam Hall returned to the side after missing the last game due to work commitments.

Dan Smith declared himself fit after limping out of the last game in the first half whilst Sean Kinsella continues his remarkable recovery from a broken ankle.

Meanwhile, Paul Donnelly and Anthony Danylyk return to the squad for the trip to Tividale on Tuesday after both were unavailable for the Loughborough game
