After the game the disappointed manager said, “I thought we deserved all the points from this game so it was sickening not to get any.
“It was a cruel game, we certainly earned something out of it – I just hope that things even themselves out over the season.
“We suffered due to mistakes. Danny (Roberts) was distraught after the game and apologised to everyone – he also broke a finger towards the end of the game but bravely played on.
“Anyway, we’ll not dwell on the result. We’ll just pick ourselves up, regroup and get on with our campaign.
“I’m now looking to strengthen the squad ahead of the game at Belper on Tuesday with a goal keeper the top priority.
“In addition, I have been talking to an experienced striker at this level and I will be speaking to another on Monday after serving his club with seven days notice,” he added.
