The final fortnight of Leek Town's regular season begins on Saturday with a visit to Goole AFC.

Blues are looking to extend the season by a further week by qualifying for the end of season promotion play-offs, but first they must pick up sufficient points from the final five games over the next two weeks.

Eleven points from those five games will make it mathematically certain for Lee Casswell's side, but with rivals Sheffield and Belper Town meeting on Easter Monday, that target could be lowered by the end of the Bank Holiday weekend.

Leek face New Mills at Harrison Park on Monday but before that they make the long trip to the Victoria Pleasure Grounds to play Goole AFC.

The Vikings are currently lying in 10th place in the table with 55 points from 38 games. Their home form is mixed with eight wins, four draws and seven defeats from their 19 games.

Blues will be looking to extend their excellent away league record that has seen them lose only three time out of 18 games on their travels this season.

Town are also on a run of five straight wins but Goole are also unbeaten in three, with two wins and a draw.

Lee Casswell (pictured) looks like having a full squad to choose from having had the luxury of a midweek without a game to rest his players.

Live coverage from the VPG wil be provided on this site and on Twitter from 3pm on Saturday.
