We would like to get as many people as possible to come and watch the girls play and also with 70 plus girls in various age group teams it is important to try and raise some funds to keep these teams going.

There will be a small admission charge to the ground of £2.50 for Adults and £1.00 for Children. All money will go to the girls section and will be divided between the five girls teams at Leek Town which are U17, U14, U12, U11, and U10.

The U17 Girls have this year entered the Central Warwickshire Girls Football League which is recognised as one of the highest standard in the Country.

The girls have had to join at U18 level as a U17 league was not available and are expecting to get put in Division One due to girls being a year younger, but due to last years success at U16 level in Staffordshire they have been put in the Premier League playing against the likes of Coventry and Wolves etc.

Being in the top league and being a year younger will be very difficult and provide a challenge for the players which should be good for player development, the club could have appealed the decision and asked to be put in Division One, however everyone involved wanted to play at the highest level possible so we are happy to be in the Premier League.
