Lee Casswell welcomed back midfielder Dan Shelley (pictured) to the starting line-up at Lincoln on Saturday after recovering from injury and he responded with his first goal for the club in the 2-1 win.

Also returning from injury is midfielder Anthony Danylyk who has been out of action since the opening game of the season. On his way back to full fitness Danylyk played two games on loan at Norton United and he won a seat on the bench at Lincoln on Saturday.

Striker Dan Cope has also returned to match action after missing all of the campaign to date due to injury. He came through 90 minutes in the reserves’ game at Ball Haye Green on Saturday and will continue his rehabilitation with two further games this week.

Goalkeeper Danny Roberts has recovered from a broken finger and has been given the all-clear to resume playing again. Roberts will return to the side for the game at home to Rainworth Miners Welfare on Saturday 3 November when Daniel Lloyd-Weston will undergo dental surgery.

Meanwhile, Matt Bell and Ashley Woolliscroft were informed they would not figure at Lincoln on Saturday and both opted not to travel.

Woolliscroft was also omitted from the squad that travelled to Coalville the previous Saturday whilst Bell was sent off in the opening half of the game at Coalville.

Nantwich Town have now served 7-days notice of approach for Woolliscroft who has failed to hold down a regular place in the side since being named club captain prior to the start of the season.
