LEEK TOWN SEND IN THE "CALVELEY"

Injuries and the availability of players over the next month have led to Neil Baker dipping into the loan market once again for cover.

The Club have signed highly rated midfielder Mike Calveley from Port Vale. Calveley signed a professional one year contract in May-17, following an impressive year with the Youth Team.

Mike was named the Youth Player of the Year at the End of Season Awards for 2016/17. The 18 year-old becames the second member of the Youth Team to sign a pro deal with Port Vale.

Calveley is a midfielder and was a key player during the 2016/17 season for Mick Ede's Youth side.
