Blues will take on a youthful Port Vale side at Hanley Town this evening kick-off 7.30pm.

The management team (pictured) will be pleased with the way things have gone so far and will be hoping to notch up a fifth straight win this evening.

The match is a replay of the Staffordshire Senior Cup Semi-final that the two sides played back in April.

That fixture also took place at Hanley Town due to problems with the waterlogged Harrison Park surface.

Lee Casswell's side triumphed 1-0 that night with a goal from Tim Grice and he has already been amongst the goals with three in two appearances following his return from holiday last weekend.

Niall Maguire leads the scoring charts in the friendlies with four goals, whilst strikers Nathan Whitehead and Dan Brown have scored three and two respectively.

Blues have scored fourteen goals in their four friendly outings with Dan Shelley and Matt Kinight completing the scorers.
