#WEARELEEK is here.

The club has been using the hashtag of #WEARELEEK on it’s Twitter feed and Facebook page since last season and has now decided to go a step further by rebranding the official club website and the social media outlets with our #WEARELEEK logos.

The website and social media are vital lines of communication for Leek Town FC and the new brand links all of these together and helps to build on the buzz of anticipation around the club ahead of the forthcoming season.

#WEARELEEK will continue to bring the all the news from all aspects of the club, match reports, action photos and live updates on match days via our Twitter service.

In addition we have seen from the reaction to historical information and photos posted on social media that there is a tremendous interest in past matches, players and the history of the club.

#WEARELEEK whilst bringing you all the latest information will also seek to preserve and celebrate the history and heritage of our great club and so we are pleased today to launch the LTFC Archive.

The archive can be accessed by clicking on the link towards the top right of the home page of this website.

Here you can find a brand NEW comprehensive season by season record of all matches, scorers, player statistics and team photos stretching back to 1982.

To access this section click here.

There is also a new photographic section showing the evolution and history of Harrison Park which can be found here.

You can also access lists of all our FA Cup, FA Trophy and Staffs Senior Cup results, details of all our managers and club player records in terms of goal scoring and appearances.

The link to the archive index is here.

The next part of the archive will be the addition of a Player A-Z bringing player pen pics and photos from the 1980’s onwards.

Finally, the match day programme will also be rebranded as #WEARELEEK giving the Town Crier a well-deserved retirement after 40 years of service!

The first edition will be available next Tuesday for the visit of Belper Town and this season will feature material which will not be available on the internet.

The price for printed copies remains at £1.50 but if you would like to receive a PDF copy electronically instead, subscriptions are available for just £20 for the entire season – irrespective of how many home cup ties we have.

It’s great value, so to sign up please email leektown@hotmail.com to be added to the mailing list , you can pay using this email address through PayPal or bring cash to the club office on match days.

The club wishes to thank Paul Buxton for his invaluable help with the new logo designs and don’t forget to include #WEARELEEK if you are posting on social media about us, let’s get Leek Town trending!
