THOMPSON BACK IN TOWN

The full back left earlier in the season due to a lack of opportunities as he found himself as understudy to Danny Smith.

Thompson joined Rushall Olympic and subsequently moved to Kidsgrove Athletic but returns to Harrison Park eager to prove himself with the prospect of more first team action with Smith on the long term injured list.

He made his second 'debut' in the Doodson Sport cup tie at Stourbridge and is in line to retain his place in the side at Lincoln United on Saturday in the absence of both Smith and Paul Donnelly who will be absent due to work commitments.
