Leek Town are hosting FC United of Manchester at Harrison Park on Saturday with a 3pm kick-off in a game that looks set to attract a large crowd.

Blues officials are anticipating their largest gate for a number of seasons with the visit of last season's Evo-Stik Premier Division Play-Off losing finalists.

'United' are backed by a large contingent of dupporters many of whom are expected to make the pilgrimage back to Harrison Park, the place where it all began for them back in August 2005 with their first competitive game against Leek CSOB.

This will be the first time Town have played FC United and Neil Baker's men will undoubtedly face a tough task against the side who are favourites to win the Premier Division title.

The game is not all-ticket but fans are strongly advised to purchase their tickets in advance to avoid queueing at the turnstiles.

The club shop will be open on Thursday evening from 7-9pm for ticket sales, priced at just £5 for adults and £3 for concessions. Season ticket pledges can also be paid or season tickets can be purchased at the discounted rate at this time.

If you purchase your FC United ticket in advance, the less time you spend queueing to get in will enable you to take advantage of the 'happy hour or two' from 1-3pm in the Blues Bar will beer will be available at just £2 per pint.
