In a very competitive first half which was end to end Leek thought they had taken the Lead on 15 minutes but the goal was ruled offside.
Sporting Khalsa scored a good team goal to go in at half time with a 1-0 lead.
On 50 minutes Leek hit back when Katie Gibbons found Chantelle Gallagher for a cool finish. 2 minutes later Gallagher hit the Sporting Khalsa crossbar with a free kick.
Michaela Lockett then found herself 1v1 with the keeper and with a composed finish put Leek 2-1 up.
5 minutes later Lockett was tripped in the box and Gallagher converted the resulting penalty.
Sporting Khalsa again replied with a good strike on 70 minutes to bring the game back to 3-2. Leek restored the two goal advantage when Rhian Morris scored from close range sliding in.
Again the competitive away team came back with a goal.
On 85 minutes another Leek free kick found Lacey-May Smith who fired home for Leek Town’s 5th goal
