The 2012/13 season has come to a end and on the whole it has been a great season for leesbrook in many ways. After a poor season the previous season getting relegated and not putting a team out for many away games this season has seen the brook more than have enough players for every game with 5 subs for most games and more players wanting to play . On the field we have played some very good rugby against well drilled sides and could of won every game we played .Only 5 defeats coming to bingham,royces and ollerton all these games could of gone either way and probably should of been wins for leesbrook. In the league we came in 2nd place securing PROMOTION ! Good seasons by all the players with some stand out performances it has been the most enjoyable year of rugby for leesbrook for some years .

We go into the 2013/14 season on a high but all players need to commit if we want to do well in this league .Pre season training will be starting at some point in summer with the aim of being the fittest squad in the league in mind so everyone must commit and also training throughout the season must carry on with all the squad .

A great turnout for the leesbrook memorial day with 2 games , leesbrook vets v melbourne vets and leesbrook 1sts v ilkeston 2/3rds , 2 great games melbourne vets winning the vets match and leesbrook 1sts comfortably beating ilkeston .

training dates will be posted as will the agm what will happen soon , have a great summer and roll on a big season for 2013/14 .
