with half the 1st team unavalibale and with only 14 players and half the 1st team missing leesbrook new they a had a hard game on there hands , with the cleethopres pack alot heavier and with them having an extra back it was going to be a battle from the start,cleethrpes started strongly but good defense kept the score at 0-0 then when brook got the ball and ran at them they made ground with our players alot sharper ,leesbrook ran the ball from there own 22 upto there tryline,good defense kept leesbrook out but after a few phazes scrum half john rogers sidestepped there defense to score the 1st try of the game which sean room converted,with the wind and a slight slope in there favor cleethopes attacked and with there man advantage they scored a few trys and it was half time ,leesbrook 7-cleethorpes 20,leesbrook started the second half strong but prop dan impey got sin binned and lessbrook was down to 13 men,but they battled on and it looked the other way round with cleethopes barley getting out there half in the 2nd half,brook pilled on the pressure in the opponets 22 but dropped balls and knock ons prevented leesbrook points, cleethorpes then intecepted a pass on the last play and scored but a good effort from a weakened leesbrook 14 that played with lots of heart .
