Passing of Frank Mugglestone

We have been asked to post a message regarding the passing of Frank Mugglestone.

Many of you may not remember Frank, but without him it is quite possible that the Forest would not exist. He founded the Old Bos. in 1955 when he was the PE master at Dixie Grammar School. He later became head of a large school in St. John, Canada where he introduced rugby. He was an ex Rugby League pro and Lougboro' student, A big man in all respects. He sent some of his ex pupils the Forest including O'Toole who played for Canada in the World Cup.

His wife Betty sent the following message.

'To all Frank’s special rugby friends, I have to tell you that Frank passed away January 4th after a short stay in hospital.....2weeks.. He had Pneumonia as well as his Blood cancer and just faded away. He loved you all very much and reminisced so often about his happy days with you all.
Sincerely.
