History
LMS was formed in 1975, and its rugby team began soon after, primarily as a means to balance the stresses of the course.
In 1995 LMS gave birth to its daughter Warwick, and forged an academic partnership that spilled over onto the sporting field. In 2002, Warwick separated and the marriage was anulled, it will however be always remembered that we like the Fun Boys the best.
Post L-W split saw a decline in standards as numbers rapidly fell. Very little information is known about this period, and hence is known only as the 'dark time.' This endured through the era of many Daves, when lo and behold striding forth, breaking free of his genetics and an early battered mars bar related death, came Uncle Ferg.
With an iron will and great mutton chops and his well learned guidance, we have crafted a very talented squad that will surely maintain their supremacy over the Alumni/ Doctor's teams for many generations to come.
We are proud to particiapate in one of the most competitive NAMs groups in the country.
