Partner Clubs - University of Leicester Rugby League
Leicester Storm have forged a partnership with the University of Leicester Rugby League team. In 2009 Club Captain Tim Farnden and assistant Academy coach James Carter took over the reigns at the student club. It is no surprise that the duo got great results and turned the team back into a formidable and winning outfit.
This year will see several of the University stars turning out for the Storm in the Summer.
The two clubs will continue to develop this partnership by playing a series of games against each other and assist each other in the development of Rugby League in Leicester.
This years Leicester Uni old boys battle will take place prior to first home game of the season.
