Graham was instrumental in creating a strong Tofts team that challenged and won promotion in the North West Intermediate Leagues but it was his commitment to the Senior colts of 2003 that most will remember him for.
He ran the training sessions with passion, whatever the weather or conditions and instilled a belief within the players .
It was this desire to win that pushed the Senior colts to secure the League and produced a number of players still at the club now, namely; Iain Wood, Matt Newton, Ryan McInsty, Chris Morgan, Micheal Eccles, Adam Brett, Scott Lloyd, Andrew Pendlebury,

More recently, he had been working with Leigh Saints until his illness made this difficult.

The funeral will be held at Howe Bridge Crematorium on Monday the 29th of December at 15:00 and then afterwards at Leigh RUFC, Hand Lane, WN7 3NA
