can somebody tell me why again last nite.that we only had two subs,just like last week .when the club as got a19s team and 2x u17s teams that have all had good seasons so there should be no shortage of players. also does anybody know how many different players as been used this season but not one player from any of the youth teams have been selected |

good question,,,,,can any of the strikers you have in mind hold a ball up without winging when they get mauled by 6ft 8 centre backs who are counting on a win bonus and take no prisoners!!!!!!! Having a good season,,,,why havent they been scouted then already?????? Has anyone asked the manager to have a look at them?????? Are they at 17 in the youth un 18 squad, collage!!.???/ get on the phone and ask the staff to look at these young lads for the future. Plus , you have to actually be signed on, and at this stage in the season!!! Im not knocking your point, its valid,.and is good for young lads to get the experience , if even on the bench at that level..just to be involved is a great thing for young lads.,Take the young full back,what a game he had,,still 17,,,,,was vocal,commanding,even shouting at ruddy at times!! not many people do that!!!committed to every challange,,was great in the air,,,but was on the bench for about 8 games,gettin 5 mins here ,5 mins there,then go a chance and took it,,,,this league isnt sunday league where parents give the ref a load of stick because little jonny was fouled!!!! ..its harder that it looks as you will well know... i would get a list of your lads and get them to be looked at, you may have done that but thats that i would do pal..oh and did you see the strike from the young lad, what a strike,hope he is there next season......with some of yours,,good question though alan,respectful question. |

To be fair Allan has got a point and fan fan has a point about it being so late in the season. Next season the U17s and U19s will be a year older and wiser and hopefully will be in a better position to break through. However, I do think that it would be useful to sign on a few of the more talented players so that there is a back up for the first team when they are short of players. It would be a wonderfull experience for them no matter how much game time they receive. |

rob you took the words out of my mouth im in total agreement i no theres a transfer deadline to sign players but surely with all the different players used this season we could have had more than one sub how many diff players have been used. there lads in the first team who play for sunday teams.thats a fact . in the nwya and south lancs league so were do there loyaltys lie |

In fairness there are players playing in the Evo-Stik Premier and even Conference North who turn out for Sunday league teams as well. |

if other teams dont come in for them im hoping they stay, but if teams come in for them the club cant stand in the way, if alan leaves perhaps the job could go to 1 of the 3 out of ruddy, phil or brock if they where offered it and wanted it |
