yeah i hope he does,,,and i would be surprised my self, but never say never,,ive been watching the lad at training on thursdays and he looks quite decent,,we just need to keep hold of the lads if we go down,,phil, dempsey, ruddy,,and the the youth lads , like ferrigan who has been outstanding,dale mcdonald,james kelly,and young david webb who can get up and down and put quality balls in to the danger area for fun!.. I would like to see the league position if this squad had started from day 1,,,,,,,we would not be where we are now,,for sure,,however that means nothing,we need wins. |

i hope most of this group of players stay with us so that we can come straight back up because more than 1 season in Vodkat League will not be good for us, like you said if we had this group of lads at the start of the season we would not be where we are now in the league |

Tell you what we have some great fans. I thought we were tired on Tuesday, it's no wonder after the number and harder teams we've had to play recently. Looks likely we're in for the drop. You cannot fault the players they've run till they dropped. Considering we lost the coach and eight players early on in the season. We had at least 6 players red carded plus some bad injuries. We've had to play on a new ground which has had teething faults, cable taken. Match cancelled because of a muddy area, which we had repaired well. The ground we are on now is more affordable. Next year will be another story. Personally I've enjoyed every minute of it. Speccies who haven't yet been to the Crill do'nt know what they are missing. I think we should give a big thank you to all the people that have helped keep the club going. Especially Alan and Garry who make it all possible, Mary whose getting good as a second goalie, Matt for his comments, Andy for his work of promoting the club, Alan. Gary. It goes without saying Alan Kershaw who is gradually rebuilding the team, Steve, Richard, Paul, plus all members of the team have given us lots to shout and ball about! The seasons only just started we've still got some matches to win. I'm sure there must be some I have missed out. Keep taking the tablets. |
