Leigh Genesis 1st X1 and the Reserve team were both in cup action against high flying teams on Easter Sunday. The first team visited Adam Morris FC and competed well but suffered a 3-1 defeat. Matt Jackson scored for Genesis and Steve Yates in goal won MOM. The Reserves pushed Martland Mill all the way and were most unlucky not to proceed to the next round. Danny Healy scored and was awarded MOM. The Vets suffered their 1st defeat of the season after winning 3 straight games and now need to watch the chasing pack of teams just behind them.
