An Evening With Kelvin Davis

2 weeks ago By Andrew Parker

We had a great Night at the Club last Friday with Kelvin Davis as our Guest.

Kelvin, as you may know went to Van Dyke School here in Leighton and played for a local Club before being spotted by and signing for Luton Town.

He also played for Wimbledon, Ipswich Town, Sunderland and ended his playing career at Southampton where he played over 300 games. He played for England U21 's

He is still heavily involved at Southampton with coaching and other activities.

He did a wonderful question and answer session and the full house were entertained by his views and opinions on a great variety of topics.

The evening was rounded off with an exceptionally good comedy performance by John Stiles - son of Nobby - who had the audience in fits of laughter and tears at his stories.

We thank everyone who came and helped to make the evening such great success.
