A sparkling first 10 minutes set Leith up for a good win.
Performance dropped off after that, but we played sufficiently well to see the game out helped by dominance of the scrum throughout.
Gareth set up tries for Kenny and Dave (special mention for Dave's movember 'tache which is coming along nicely unlike my straggly effort), in what may be his last game for a wee while due to impending fatherhood.
Colin was particularly destructive in the scrum (ably supported by Winton and Grant) which saw us take 4 or 5 against the head, a real rarity in these days of tolerated squint feeding.
Our next opponents will be (Going by the SRU website) Broughton, Penicuik or RDVC.
Good to see the Ferry guys at Leith, as it's always decent craic with them. Somewhat disrupted on this occasion by the fire alarm going off and subsequent delay in showering etc.
