It is with great regret that we inform you that a club stalwart and past president of ours has passed away today following a long illness.

Please find below the message that Jimmy's son Ramsay kindly sent to the Club this evening:

Dad passed away peacefully this afternoon following a bad fall a couple of weeks ago, He had developed pneumonia. The staff at both the care home and Glasgow Royal made him as comfortable as possible throughout.

We will confirm the arrangements for the funeral in the next couple of days and come back to you. It will probably be next week.
