In what is a massive boost for the Club, Tim Heaton has returned from a 5 year sabbatical at Harrogate RUFC to Leos.

A product of Woodhouse Grove School, Tim left Leos as a tyro 23-year old to pursue his rugby ambitions with Harrogate in the National Leagues. He made over 150 appearances for Harrogate in the back row, and has been their Player of The Year and MOTM on several occasions.

Tim recently took on the mantle of running the family business, Westmorland Sheepskins (www.westmorlandsheepskins.co.uk), alongside brother Joe. This, coupled with the recent arrival of a baby, has limited the time he has available for National League Rugby and it's attendant travelling.

Tim will be working with Player-Coach Dan Hyde and in addition to becoming a key member of the team will undertake a development role to restore our Junior section to it's former glories and to deepen our links with Universities, links which have already seen the recruitment of 6 new players to the first team squad over the last 4 weeks.

Good to have you back, Tim!
