Letchworth Ladies 1st XI Hockey – 10th and 11th September 2011
Pre-season double header
Letchworth Ladies 1st XI had a busy weekend of hockey, with two practice games in preparation for their 1st Division East league matches which begin Saturday. Despite not having their full squad of players, Letchworth made a promising start to their season beating both St. Neots (3-1) and Shefford and Sandy (4-1). It was fantastic to see experienced players playing alongside the up and coming juniors; Katie Stroomer, Sophie Sheard and Robyn Godfrey. Let’s hope the team continue to build on this positive start.
