Team News - Saturday 25th February 2012
This Saturday, the 4th XI have a friendly against Tring 4s at Tring School, Mortimer Hill, TRING HP23 5JU.
Please meet at 12 noon for a 1.45 p.m. start, unless you are going direct.
We have a full squad of 16 this week. However, 2 or 3 players are still not fully fit & the U.14s have a league match on Sunday as well. So there will be plenty of substitutions!

GK Hope Tolliday; Haidee Castle; Caroline Nicholson; Judith Balsom; Alison Adams; Lorna Alcock; Alex Bradley; Liz Small; Katherine Lennard (going direct); Kelley Wray; Zoe Waring; Kate Nicholson; Pheobe Guinn (going direct); Vivika Turner; Alana Sullivan & Georgia Urquhart.
Umpire: Andy Lennard (going direct).
On Sat March 3rd, we have a friendly against Potters Bar 3s at home - 10.30 a.m. start. Noleen Pond has kindly agreed to be manager that day.
We then have 2 league games, both at home, from which we need 3 points to guarantee promotion - we don't really want to rely on us beating Saffron Walden at the end of March!
We are still missing some players' availability for these matches - please let Rowena know a.s.a.p.
The tickets for the 'End of Season Party' will be on sale this weekend. Judith will be overseeing monies for the next 3 weeks, as Anna is not available until March 17th.
Please make cheques payable to Letchworth Hockey Club - tickets will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis. Dress - smart/casual (no jeans or trainers).
Our preparations/rehearsals for the Ladies Dinner, on Sat April 28th, will probably take place at the end of March - more details from Wiggy in the near future!
