Letcombe booked their place in the last four of the Faringdon Thursday Cup competition after a straight-forward 2-0 victory over Fairford Town. A goal from Joe Heffernan, who then assisted Tom Rowe for the second, made sure of the victory.

The semi-final of this competition will be held in April 2017, and AFC Lechlade also overcame their quarter-final fixture this evening to ensure they progressed in the cup.
