Letcombe keeper answers our questions.

Our brand new and totally original (!) Introducing feature makes a Monday evening return and the focus tonight turns to our goalkeeper, whose performances last season made him a twitter talking point...

Danny Joyce was one of the big plus points in what was an ultimately difficult and disappointing 2013/14 season. Danny established himself as first team goalkeeper having played for the Reserves the previous season. He showed he was totally ready for regular first team football and demonstrated his fantastic shot stopping ability on a number of occasions.

Danny has been with Letcombe for some time now and last year's fine form was his longest run in the first team since the 2011/12 where he played a number of matches during the second half of the campaign. Last year a number of opposing managers took to Twitter to talk about our goalkeeper and praise him for his performances!

This season started with some frustration for Danny as he sustained an ankle injury playing in a summer 6-aside tournament. Whilst out, his photography skills were put to good use, as he took a number of shots for the official website. Although we were very grateful for the pictures, we are now glad to see Danny back on the pitch playing and he has come back looking sharper than ever in the Letcombe goal.

If you were going on a night out, which three members of the Letcombe squad would you take and why:
Tom Stone – Well travelled (We think this may be a myth!), knows a good night out.
Adam Claydon – Same as above.

Thanks Danny for answering our questions! It is great to see Danny back in action and he will be an important player this season.
