Young forward talks to the website.

On a Monday and a Wednesday we Introduce a member of the Letcombe squad and today it is the turn of a young forward who is looking to make his mark after injury...

Owen Shaw made his debut for our Reserve side during the 2012/13 season and impressed with his ability on the ball and eye for a goal. He made his debut for the First Team at the back end of that season and quickly looked at home playing at a higher level.

Owen featured in some of or pre-season matches and really caught the eye during training. Unfortunately, a back injury has prevented him being involved as much as he would like, but everyone at the club is keen to see him back playing as soon as possible.

Owen is a player with bags of natural ability. Lets see how he answered our questions as we Introduce Owen Shaw:

Do you have a pre-match routine? No, not particularly. Just try and relax.

What about the worst dressed? Not really sure to be honest.
Who is the loudest player before a match? Tom Stone getting everybody up for the game.
Who is the funniest member of the Letcombe squad? Has to be Jack Hamblin
If you were going on a night out, which three member of the Letcombe squad would you take and why: I would say George Francis, Wrighty and Alex Thomas as I get on well with them.

Any other business: "I have been injured for most of the season which is really frustrating but I'm trying to get back playing again injury free."

Thank you to Owen for answering our questions! Everyone at Letcombe wants to see Owen back playing soon, he is highly rated and well thought of at Bassett Road.

We meet another member of the squad on Wednesday!
