This was an invite to Preston Ramblers AGM which sounds strange at first as though we are happy to dance anywhere rambling is not what we go in for in Morris kit.
The aim however was to provide something different for their members to do after they had held their AGM.

So we rolled up just as the business part of the day was concluding and proceeded to show them some of our dances and then encouraged them to join in.

They were willing volunteers and enthusiastically tried Constant Billy with two short sticks and Tinner’s Rabbit with a long stick.

Who knows this introduction to Morris dancing may give them another use for their walking sticks when on their next outing.
