The stong side from Blackbrook gave the Leyland side a great opportunity to learn from some skilled players and develop their game.
Leyland worked hard, attacking up the pitch but strong defence kept the Warriors away from the try line. This made them even more determined to score in the next set.
Blackbrook showed some very good rugby skills but stong defence from Martin Bradshaw, Jude Davies and Joshua Cooper kept up the Warriors' motivation.
Learning from Blackbrook, Leyland started to offload the ball also, with Man of the Match Matthew Parkinson always in an onside position ready to run the ball in.
At half time the warriors were down 30-0 but managed to get two tries before the final whistle. Overall a great game of rugby for the young Warriors against a much more experienced opposition.
