Two of the camps will take place at Central Park, Montrose Avenue, Wigan for children from 4-14 years and a further camp has been arranged at Chorley Panthers for 6-14 year olds.

The main aim of the camps is for the children to have fun while learning the fundamental skills of rugby in a safe and controlled environment.

Delivered by the Warriors Community Foundation Coaches, the children will learn how to improve their rugby skills and also provides the perfect social environment for children of similar ages and abilities to make friends and enjoy themselves, taking part in an array of fun games and activities throughout the day. The camps will include appearances from some of the Wigan Warriors first team players and the Warriors mascot Mighty Max who will help teach the younger children how to play the ‘Warriors Way'.

‘'Easter Camps are a great way for children of all ages and abilities to get involved in sport, enjoying the camaraderie while developing their fundamental skills, which are both key to young people. We pride ourselves on making our coaching sessions as fun as possible while teaching children some of the skills, disciplines and the respect expected of the Wigan Warriors first team."
