No.6 for me too although it does look like it will give the lads a rather feminine shape - look good on the women's team though. No.4 looks like a strawberry milkshake that hasn't quite been finished yet and No. 2 is getting too close to a Wales kit for my liking!

Think they all have their own positives and negatives Matt.

    In my PERSONAL opinion:
1 - would be the coolest for the players but might have too much white on it to be practical.
2 - may not be the most pleasing design but it is the traditional colours of Lancashire.
3 - different and unusual but again, maybe a bit too much white.
4 - unusual and eye-catching but it may not be everyones cup of tea.
5 - I love the asymmetrical design but again, might not be to everybody's taste.
6 - nice design but a bit too much black for me given the aim behind changing kits.

I guess we'll find out in a few weeks!

Whichever kit the club's members choose, not everybody will be happy but we need to get to a 'One Club, One Kit' situation.

How are all the players going to get a vote when you have to be over 14yrs old to register on this site ? .....That rules out The under 8s, Under 12s and the Under 13s and some of the younger Under 14s .......Thought the whole idea was for the Players to choose ?

If they do not have a Pitchero profile, then the players choice can be registered through a vote by their parent/guardian.

It may be worth noting that almost all of the U13s and U14s (and plenty of U12s) from having Facebook profiles.

Martin, as I mentioned this morning to Ian and numerous others this morning, a letter with voting form will be coming out during the week for those who can't vote online. Either the players can vote via a parents account, or they can fill in the form and pass it back to a member if the committee. The intention is as you point out to let the players decide which is why we will make every effort to ensure they all get a vote.

Is the intention for every team to get a new strip? Sorry I wasn't at training today so haven't got a letter.

  • Phil Roberts

Yes Matt. One strip across the whole club.

For those parents who haven't had boys playing very long and with the experience of 5 seasons I would strongly advise that with the change to summer rugby we should keep away from any black in the kits. I for one would not want to add to the heat factor for my son!

Number 6 would be better if it was white where the black is and black where the white is yes? can that be altered ?

I like kit 4 and 5, but i'm letting James decide because at the end of the day the boys have to wear it, not the parents.

Could we ask, what will happen to the old kits? We certainly would like to make a donation to get hold of Thomas's kit and get it framed for him. This might also be an idea to offfset any costs for the club.

The plan would be that for the next season at least, they would be retained as a change kit, should one be required.

Kit number 1, isn't it a bit too Saintsy?
Carol and I prefer kit 4, but will get Thomas to look at them later when I can drag him away from his X box.
