After the defeat to Waltham Forest Gordon Boateng and Nick Azzopardi reflect on the game and the team's progress

Gordon Boateng;

"I felt we were the better side out of the two temas we created much more chances which we failed to take, we had at least 4 clear cut chances to score, when your down the bottom that is just your luck, we had a clear cut chance to score and take the lead which didn't happen and then they hit us on the counter and scored against the run of play with a lucky goal.

The good thing is I have seen some improvements since Needham Market, the players look hungry to do well for the club and get us out of this mess which is the most important thing.
We are all positive and all know what we have to do, which is simple, we need to start winning games, which we will do.
We are saying to the supporters get behind us as we need your support as now the only way is up."

Nick Azzopardi;

"We played together well and looked more like a team than the Needham Market game, but also created a lot of clear chances that have to be taken other wise it will cost us games.
But overall the performance was okay and we dominated most of the game, unfortunatly it must have been Waltham Forest's day as we could not score.
I am confident that with the team we have we will avoid relegation as we have a good management team to get Leyton out of the bottom and to safety."
