Leyton Draw with Pro - Tec
Leyton has lion share of game but only comes out with a draw.
It seeems unbelieveable that after the share of possession and chances Leyton had, that the result should be 1-1. But possession with no end result mean lossess or draws. First half we hit the post twice, goal line clearances twice and several missed chances. In reality and this is no disrespect to Pro- Tec if the chances had been taken we would have easily been 4 or 5 goals up. Instead we went in 0-0 still waiting for a breakthrough.
Second half we seemed to have lost a little of the spark from the first half allowing Pro-tec to come back into the game.
We continued to press until pro-tec gave away a penalty taking down (I can't remember someone help me). Jamal stepped up and slotted past keeper to make it 1-0. But as we all know 1-0's can go either way and it did. Joe was taken off the pitch due to a heavy but fair collision with the Pro-Tec forward and Michael Girling stepped up to take his place.
Several missed tackles and a shot that narrowly went past an outstretched hand of Michael and they were 1-1.
Several more chances by Leyton but no end result and the game finished 1-1. A very physical but fair game and another reminder that we have to put away our chances!!!!
Well done to Wesley Drizkel who officiated the game fairly and kept the game under control when the old testosterome of the boys was welling up.
