Since hitting the top of the leaderboard in mid June, JOWStars XI has never been topped and continues to hold a narrow lead on the chasing pack.
With only one Sunday fixture left, 151 points separates the team from Coalition of Chaos XI.
For The Many XI - sits an additional 88 points behind in Third place, but a place on the Top Tier podium looks unassailable for James Horne's squad.
Ironically only a Man of The Match performance in the 3rdXI from last season's FL Champion Josh Booth (whose Scoring Points XI are this season mid table) OR a major contribution from Regan Broadbent, are likely to shuffle the leading standings.
Meanwhile the Horne Snr family looks set to argue over the prize for 10th spot as White Tailed Eagles (Claire) and Rambling Bob XI (for Robert, whose team have fallen away after being competitive for most of the season) look strong favourites.
John Brooke may have forgotten that Memory Will Play Again was once a League pacesetter, but the blow of their severe demise (his batting/all rounders dried up dramatically on the points in August) will be softened by the Prize winning 18th position.
Only runs for Regan would help We're On Our Way (owned by current Chair Steve Hartley) overtake the Club President's team.
The final prize awarded for 26th position rests with All Inclusive XI and only Sam Kalanovic (Team Manager & all rounder in the team) can affect things here.
There remain a small number of Team Managers who have yet to pay their Entry fees.
There will be some polite cajouling in the coming week.
