Lightcliffe won by 4 wickets

Lightcliffe, moved above East Bierley into third place after chasing down Hanging Heaton's total of 211-8. Their match winner was Charlie Roebuck. He hit a six and 19 fours as he made an unbeaten 129 from just 105 balls to rescue Lightcliffe from a precarious 46-5 after paceman David Stiff took 3-50. Roebuck was joined in an unbeaten seventh-wicket stand of 100 by Josh Wheatley (27 not out).

Earlier, Alex Stead (3-52) and Chris Greenwood (3-58) had been the pick of the bowlers as Hanging Heaton built their total of 211-8 around the contributions of Rob McFarlane (44), Ahsan Butt (38), Joe Fraser (36) and James Stansfield (34).

Lightclife 19 pts Pudsey Congs 8 pts

Lightcliffe won by 7 runs

With an outside chance of still securing the title Lightcliffe knew nothing but a victory would do. Visitors to Wakefield Road were Pudsey Congs.

Lightcliffe openers Alex Lees (103) and Chris Taylor (75) shared a partnership of 163 as their side defeated Pudsey Congs in a thrilling game. Suleman Khan blasted 31 from 14 balls and Matt Taylor and Mark Horne knocked 20 from the last over which proved crutial.

Lees hit four sixes and six fours and helped his side to post a challenging score of 254-7 which Congs made a brave bid to chase down.

Babar Butt (72) and Basil Akram (60) shared a second-wicket stand of 115 and Edward Walmsley made 37, but the Lightcliffe spin bowlers Chris Greenwood (3-55) and Suleman Khan (3-70) ensured the home side prevailed in a nail biter.

The Bradford League Division One title race is set for a dramatic finale on Saturday with four teams still in the hunt.

Just 11 points separate faltering leaders Woodlands and fourth-placed East Bierley after another eventful day.

The final day fixtures – matches which were moved from the opening day due to rain – see Woodlands at home to Bradford & Bingley, Cleckheaton, chasing their first title, away to Pudsey Congs, East Bierley will host Pudsey St Lawrence and Lightcliffe entertain an Undercliffe side whose relegation was confirmed when they were bowled out for 98 at Pudsey St Lawrence to lose by eight wickets.
