Paul Tesseyman, for many years a club stalwart, player and committee man, sadly passed away on Christmas Eve.

Paul made a huge contribution to club life. The father of current player RIchard and former player Daniel, he was most involved from the mid 1980s to mid 1990s.

At varying times he was club secretary, gala committee man, second team player and manager of various junior teams.

Paul will be remembered with fondness by those who worked and played with him. He enriched a successful period at the club under the never dull captaincy of Brian Clough.

Along with the likes of George Bottomley and Margaret Firth he helped move the gala forward, developing new ideas and making it a permanent fixture in the club calendar.

In essence, Paul played a huge part in what was a really happy period for the club.

The club's thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

Paul's funeral is Friday 9 January, 2.40pm, at Scholemoor Cemetery and Crematorium, Necropolis Road, Bradford, BD7 2PS.

There is a gathering afterwards at Sandal Farm Brighouse and Denholme Road, Bradford BD13 3SS.
