There can be no worthier winner of April's LCC Monthly Draw - Alan Godden! The £100 1st prize is just reward for his recent efforts with our scorebox.

For much of March and into April, Alan (pictured) continues to spend his spare time converting the quaint but slightly ageing edifice into a modern Electronic model, worthy of our 2012 First Division status. Everything is targeted for completion for Saturday's first home fixture of the season.

Sources suggest that the cash is being used to book a set of Physio sessions to recover from the effort.

Second Prize in April's Draw - £50 - went to another club icon R M Horne Esq. Bob can trace the origins of the club draw back to the 19th century and is busy compiling a list of past winners (a tome that will possibly require self publishing..).

The Lightcliffe Cricket Club Monthly Draw is a valuable source of revenue for the club, available to all Club Members (and Parents of Junior Players, who automatically become club members in the process).

Monthly fee to enter is just £5 (payable by standing order).

Chairman Steve Hartley confirmed in the Annual Subscription Letter ambitions for the draw:-
" Dependant on uptake we will add further prizes and will guarantee that a minimum of 50% of proceeds is paid out in winnings with the profit going to club funds"

We need your support!.

Draw Forms are available in the Clubhouse, from the Club Treasurer, Dave Curran, or please speak to any Commitee Member for further details.
