The in-form opener has been ripping up the record books since he joined the club and broke another when became the first Lightcliffe player to achieve the feat twice.
Taylor has now scored over 2,500 runs in his two seasons at the club; despite another record breaking individual summer he said it would mean nothing unless the team reached the top flight.
He said: "I was chuffed and proud to make a thousand again but my fcous and the team focus is very much on promotion.
"We have four cup finals left in our campaign and if we win them all then we are up. That will feel good. Individual performances mean nothing without team success."
On Monday morning Taylor was delighted to receive a telegraph from Indian and former LCC star Mohammed Kaif congratulating him on his thousand runs!
