Joe Butlers goal wins it for Linby at Eastwood ......Reserves put Five past South Normanton Athletic Reserves .......With Boss Wheatley Keeping a clean sheet in goal

Linby won their third game on the trot , 1-0 at Eastwood , to go Fourth in the CMFL South Division Table.
Joe Butler got the vital goal on 47 minutes.
We wasted a raft of chances to win by more, Eastwood keeper Andy Fretwell made a series of excellent saves , in front of a large crowd of 170 at Coronation Park.
I get the feeling that Eastwood will soon start to become a force to be reckoned with in the CMFL.
One throw back to History was Eastwoods best out field player was Frazer Dulson, grandson of Linby Legend Ralph " Dicky Dulson .
Dulson scored the goal in Linbys FA First Round Round tie with Gillingham in 1950.

The Reserves Thrashed South Normanton Reserves 5-0 , at Church Lane, with goals from Jonny Bernard, Ross Cheeseman , Luke Price,
A "Worldy" from Ant Wallis and Az Ryan.
With regular custdodian Glenn Guyatt at a wedding , boss Jamie Wheatley donned the gloves, and kept a clean sheet .
